Since the day we went into lockdown, several key attributes have stayed the same at South Atlantic, Versatile and Prostar Packaging.

…and yet, so much has changed:

Next-Gen Co-Packagers

Today, our co-packaging model combines the best of the customer-focus of small business and the enterprise efficiency of big business. Under the South Atlantic Versatile and ProStar banners, we have been in business for decades, but the five years since the start of the pandemic may be the most critical years of our experience to date.

By working so closely with our customers through the pandemic, we learned just how much they value information. We also learned that customer appetite for information definitely is not “one size fits all.” That’s why we made a commitment and followed through with investments in industry-leading systems such as Nulogy. We use our enterprise-level reporting capabilities to generate real-time information tailored to the individual customer, who might have multiple projects running at two or more of our sites simultaneously. Our reports give our customers the job status information they need to make critical decisions that can have a positive impact on the bottom line.

While we never want to repeat our pandemic experience, we are grateful for the lessons it taught us. Our organization survived and thrived, and five years post-pandemic we have continued on our journey to become America’s go-to contract packager.
